It’s sure to be electrifying night with Jamiel Said & The Playmakers taking the stage. Get set to let loose and enjoy some awesome feel-good, rock and roll song covers, arranged in their unique way. Influenced by the legends of rock, pop, ballads and alternative music, Jamiel & The Playmakers perform songs from Journey, Sting, Beatles, Goo Goo Dolls, Ed Sheeren, Padi, Search and Oasis. Have friends who enjoy live music? Bring them along for an awesome, interactive show.

Jamiel Said is a chart-topping singer-songwriter. His song Nafasku was part of the original soundtrack for Manisnya Cinta Di Cappadocia which starred Fazura and Shaheizy Sam and Cincin Di Jari, on the original soundtrack for the hit teledrama Kekasih Paksa Rela starring Remy Ishak.

 

Being a strong advocate of languages, Jamiel won a bilingual Malay/Chinese songwriting competition with Kumahu, Zaihu. The competition was organised by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and was featured on MediaCorp and The Straits Times.

 

His recently released single Engkaulah Wanitaku can be heard on the radio and in a teledrama in Malaysia.
