Music Cousins

Founded in 2018, the Open Score Project (OSP) is a syncretic music ensemble that draws inspiration from the different cultural traditions of Singapore for its original works and arrangements. The soundscape of the ensemble encompasses a variety of colours from different ethnic instruments, such as the morin khuur, pipa, tabla, accordion, cello, venu amongst others. The mission of the ensemble is to paint a unique soundscape fitting of the rich cultural diversity in Singapore through artistic exchanges and collaboration among artists.

Some of OSP's original programs include My Sunny Island, a locally flavoured, interactive and multicultural musical performance for children, as well as When We Get Together, a participatory art program for Arts in Your Neighbourhood, an initiative by National Arts Council.
