Rodrigo Parejo is a creative, adventurous and multifaceted Spanish jazz musician, improviser, sound alchemist, researcher, composer and educator. He is constantly in movement between Europe and Aisa, contributing to various music scenes such as jazz, world music, contemporary dance wellness, and experimental improvised music. He has worked with renowned international aritsts such as Phil Woods, Norma Winstone, London Improvisers Orchestra, Hank Bennink, Michael Moore and many more. He has also appeared in venues and major festivals such as North Sea Jazz Festival (The Netherlands), Steve Reich Festival (Amsterdam), Bratislava Jazz Day (Slovakia), Flamenco Festival Vienna (Austria), Bimhuis (Amsterdam), Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay (Singapore), Rainforest World-Music Festival (Malaysia) and MURFEST (Malaysia) among others.
Parejo graduated and obtained a Master Degree with distinction at the Royal Conservatory (The Hague, Netherlands). He has also studied at School for Improvisation (New York), Banff Center of Arts (Canada), Norwegian Art Academy (Oslo), and Institute of Arts Indonesia.
