Tanuki at the Park

UlangAlik is a puppet theatre studio based in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. We create performances that invite children and young audiences to explore stories through puppetry and play. What began as small, community based activities for children has grown into a puppet theatre studio, bringing performances to children communities, libraries, schools, and festivals across Indonesia and beyond.

UlangAlik was founded by Rachmi Dewi Pertama, who also works as a designer. She is currently designing Lost Island, a children’s art space created in collaboration with The Artground Singapore, on display until December 2026.
