Rit Xu Organ Trio

Join award-winning flautist and composer Rit Xu for an afternoon of energetic, soulful, and genre-blending music at Jazz in July. Featuring two of Singapore’s most celebrated jazz musicians—Chok Kerong on the Hammond organ and Yap Ting Wei on drums—the dynamic organ trio will present a vibrant mix of jazz standards, hard bop classics, blues, funk and original compositions. Audiences can look forward to music inspired by artists such as Joey DeFrancesco, Larry Goldings, Herbie Hancock and Hubert Laws, brought to life through fiery improvisation, rich melodies, swinging blues and real-time musical dialogue.
