Harith Razak
Harith Razak has been active in Singapore’s music scene as both a sideman and bandleader for nearly 15 years. As a seasoned performer on the keyboards and synthesiser, he has most recently turned his attention to the acoustic piano and is keen to explore new ways of playing jazz. He cites American jazz pianists Bud Powell and Horace Silver among his key influences.
Ryan Chew
Ryan Chew is an emerging jazz guitarist in Singapore’s music scene. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in jazz performance at LASALLE College of the Arts. Inspired by American jazz guitarists Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and Grant Green, he is fiercely dedicated to expanding his musical vocabulary and developing his artistic voice. He aspires to contribute to the jazz community through both performance and teaching.
Réginald Cotton
Immersed in the sounds of gypsy jazz played in his family’s French bistro, bassist Réginald Cotton began learning electric bass at 13 and later took up the double bass at 17. Currently pursuing a Diploma in Pop Music at LASALLE College of the Arts under the mentorship of Eugene Chew, Réginald continues to develop his musical voice as a performer. His playing draws inspiration from the technical mastery, groove and innovation of influential bassists such as Paul Chambers, Jaco Pastorius and John Patitucci. Réginald is keen to explore new possibilities in bass playing and contribute to Singapore’s music scene.
Hian Ming
Inspired by the music of Indonesian jazz pianist Joey Alexander, Hian Ming began playing the drums and now performs with the NUS Jazz Band while studying Life Sciences at the National University of Singapore.
