Yvette Atienza is a veteran Singapore-based vocalist specialising in straight-ahead and Latin jazz. Active in Singapore’s jazz scene since 1996, she is known for her work in vocal improvisation, vocalese and Latin jazz stylings. Originally from Manila, Yvette moved to Singapore in 1987 and began her career performing as a pop singer in local bands before pursuing her passion for jazz in the mid ‘90s. Over the course of nearly four decades, she has performed professionally across Southeast Asia, and continues to mentor and teach emerging vocal talents in Singapore.
