With its uniquely pleasing musical tone, the iconic gourd and bamboo instrument has mesmerised those who have the pleasure to hear it being played.

Tong Wei Jie is a passionate musician, conductor, and educator, who is dedicated to music education and community engagement. With a Master of Education in Music, he conducts and instructs diverse groups that include students, seniors, and special-needs communities, while fostering artistic development through roles in various schools, ensembles, and cultural organisations in Singapore.
