Synopsis

Do you have what it takes to beat our Game Masters? Put your wiles and wit to the test in The Ultimate Flipside Face-Off!

 

This high-energy roving game experience features two dynamic Game Masters, Wham (Red) and Bam (Blue), who will roam the festival grounds and challenge the public to a fast-paced battle of skill, strategy and luck.

 

Armed with a spinning wheel of mini-games, the Game Masters approach different pairs of participants, inviting them to go head-to-head in quick challenges. In each round, one player represents Team Red, and the other, Team Blue, competing in a randomly selected game—ranging from Rock-Paper-Scissors to a Tic-Tac-Toe Speed Run. The game continues as the Game Masters move through the venue, engaging new participants and keeping score. The team with the highest point at the end of 45 minutes wins the match, bringing the session to an exciting finale.

 

With its spontaneous, interactive format, The Ultimate Flipside Face-Off transforms the Esplanade into a live game arena—where anyone can become a competitor, and every match is a chance for a comeback. Whether playing or cheering, audiences will find themselves caught up in the thrill of the game.

Principal Game Master of TableMinis, an improv performer, coach, and tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) Game Master who thrives on collaborative storytelling and spontaneous creativity. With over 800 hours running immersive tabletop RPG sessions and 250+ hours coaching/teaching improv, Mellow brings humour, quick thinking, and a passion for storytelling to every table and stage. He’s helped shape the next generation of Game Masters through developing structures and workshops. Whether performing, coaching, or rolling dice, Mellow is all about creating unforgettable moments and fostering creativity in others.

Farez Najid

Farez Najid is a storyteller at heart. After spending time in the theatre world, he found a new stage in tabletop role-playing games. He’s the co-founder of TableMinis, a cosy little studio in Singapore where adventures come to life, dragons get slayed (sometimes), and imagination runs wild.

 

When he’s not behind a Dungeon Master screen guiding epic tales, Farez is mentoring new Game Masters, running community events, and creating content that brings people together through play. For him, every game is a chance to connect, laugh, and maybe even learn something about yourself.
