Emerge Music has been cultivating the rich music scene in central Taiwan since it was founded in 1999. Besides publishing domestic and international independent music albums, Emerge is also known for starting one of Taiwan’s longest-running live houses, where well-known musicians like Deserts Xuan, Sodagreen and Fire EX have performed. Actively tapping into Asia’s interconnected music network, they have also organised multiple events, performances and festivals both in Taiwan and overseas, in countries such as Japan, Malaysia and Thailand. They hope to bring Taiwanese music to the world while introducing international music artists to Taiwan as well, and are focused on fostering exchanges and relationships with international artists and communities.
