KIKI

KIKI, the Bangkok-based band under Parinam Music was formed during the lockdown in 2021, comprises Helen (vocalist), Non (guitarist), and Boss (guitar and synthesiser). The group shared musical interests in alternative rock, pop, funk, and dance music, and started composing music together that combined groovy bass lines, colourful synthesisers, hip hop, and lo-fi elements.

Since their formation, the band has gained immense popularity in their home country and around Southeast Asia. They became known for their tightly-woven live performance, receiving critical acclaim as well as public attention. Their music has been featured on playlists of major music streaming services such as Spotify, and has been featured in both local and international media.

In 2022, they released their first studio album Metamorphosis: First Stage, which spawned fan favourites such as Back In the Game and Don’t Forget Me. This was followed by 2023’s Post Existential Crisis, building upon the band’s growing popularity with hits such as Antidote, Get Up, XOXO and Daydream. The band has performed in and toured countries such as South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as opened for South Korean band ADOY.

In 2023, KIKI come back with their 2nd full album ‘Post Existential Crisis’. This album is a mirror of a journal that tries to express the notion of escapism and a recovery of a lost soul, an intangible form of Hope. The album is dedicated to all who seeks the shimmering light at the end of the tunnel, and contains the singles ‘Antidote’, ‘Get Up’, ‘XOXO’ and ‘Daydream’.
