Synopsis

Qun kua (裙褂), which literally translates to a skirt and a jacket, refers to the traditional red embroidered attire that have been used for centuries in Chinese weddings. In this talk, Janet Ng, the director and owner of specialist wedding studio The Red Wedding, will share her knowledge about the traditional Chinese wedding dress, including its origins, the various types of qun kua for the bride and the groom, and tips on how to select the best qun kua.
