With 25 albums under his belt, Dato Malek Ridzuan is no stranger to the spotlight. Well-known for his hit songs, Abang Pulang, Cukup Sampai Di Sini, Kelip-Kelip Kusangka Api and more, Dato Malek brings you a power packed performance of his original hits and popular nostalgic songs of the ‘70s and ‘80s! Don’t miss the opportunity to catch him at his first ever showcase at Esplanade Recital Studio.

The talented Dato Malek Ridzuan’s singing career took off by happenstance—while auditioning for the part of a musician, he was instead asked to audition as a singer and the rest is history. Now, with over 25 albums in his repertoire, Dato Malek is an acclaimed artist, having collaborated with leading composers and producers such as S. Atan, Razzi M, Ramli MS. When he was based in Singapore in the ‘80s, he worked on several albums in addition to jingles for radio and television. Dato Malek actively performed at clubs worldwide, as well as venues such as Sentosa’s iconic musical fountain stage. He was also part of a team of singers who broke the Guinness World Record for singing continuously over 24 hours.
