What happens when two good friends come into a disagreement on a situation? Do they solve it on their own? Not quite: Instead, they’ll tell a story to try and get people on their side. The story in question revolves around an ox, a lion who’s also a king and two jackals named Kalilah & Dimnah. Watch how this story plays out, live at Esplanade Concourse!
Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Nazray
Nazray is an artist whose outlets include theatre, music, film, and photography. Born and raised in the East, Nazray hopes to one day own a theatre on that side of town. If he's not in rehearsals, he's in the nearest record store buying too many vinyls he can't afford and watching old avant-garde films he doesn't really understand.
Hasisha Nazir
Hasisha loves the spontaneity and thrill of performing for a live audience, especially so when it includes children. A stage and film actress, she ventured into acting by chance. Since then, she picked up bits and pieces from varied training methods at the different productions she had the opportunity to be part of, which now form the foundation of her craft. Her credits include supporting character Nina Bala in the long-form television drama Kin on Mediacorp Channel 5 and as an ensemble cast in the epic play Ponniyin Selvan as part of Chennai theatre company Magic Lantern, Vimala in RDG's Pazhuppu and Mrs. Troll in Muse Arts' children's musical Up in the Sky. In her free time, she ponders how to be the best version of herself and painless ways to wear down the resistance between pondering and action.
