Building Fire with Ilina Hats

Building Fire is an alternative band that aims to create lush music arrangements with a unique combination of acoustic and electronic elements. The band is lead by drummer Kevin Gregory Peter, and comprises skilled musicians like Matthew Tay on guitar and Devina Sutjiono on violin, with the support from a pool of the best up-and-coming session musicians in Singapore such as Aditya Nayak (bass), Ryan Tan (keyboard), and other passionate individuals. Formed in 2019, the band has performed for concerts such as the LASALLE RIF festival (2020), ArtWalk Little India (2021), Brahmastra Festival of Arts and Music (2021), and other local showcases.

Ilina Hats is an artist determined to help people find connection by being vulnerable through her music. Some of her works include projects with various theatre productions, ensembles, and recently, with Amazon Prime for two seasons of their series, Four More Shots Please. She has been featured in publications including Rolling Stone, The Guide, Midday India; and worked with some of India’s greatest producers like Vishal-Shekhar, Ajay-Atul, Clinton Cerejo, and more.She has also opened for international artists like Grammy-award winning Reggae artist Shaggy as well as Hillsong United.
