Join PermaiSuara as they explore the Malay archipelago with their renditions of well-known folk and community songs, taking you from the forests of Kalimantan, Indonesia to the villages of Sumatra's Batak Toba tribe. You are sure to be enthralled by their performance.

PermaiSuara

Founded in 2016 by artist Afi Hanafi and Megat Firdaus, PermaiSuara is a collective of Malay singers. Since its inception, PermaiSuara has performed for various events at Esplanade, community clubs and the launch of the annual Malay language month. Their repertoire ranges from traditional Malay classics to community folk and pop songs arranged by the singers and music director.
