Vmall Entertainment is proud to announce Ustad Zakir Hussain's critically-acclaimed “Masters of Percussion” tour to Singapore on the 15th of August at the Esplanade Concert Hall. The evening brings together the tabla maestro along with percussionists from virtually every other culture in the world that has a beat. Witness extraordinary, exciting and spontaneous combinations of percussive as well as melodic performances from the masters.

1. Ustad Zakir Hussain Zakir Hussain is widely considered as one of the greatest tabla players of all time. Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain made history at the Grammy Awards this year becoming the first Indian to win three trophies in a single night.

2. Tupac Mantilla, Colombian percussionist, Tupac has devoted most of his creative energy to developing his “solo percussion” and “body percussion” shows, for which he has gained a reputation as one of the most unique and charismatic performers on the modern music scene.

3. Melissa Hei, Hié, of Burkina Faso heritage, born in France and living in Bordeaux can draw fluency and complex rhythms from the djembe. Her combination of sincerity, musical deftness and joyful expressiveness are mesmerizing.
