Synopsis

Embark on an adventurous tale with the West Winds as they take you on a musical storytelling like no other, featuring guest conductor Daisuke Shimizu from Japan! Shimizu is a renowned conductor and composer, having composed music for prestigious ensembles such as the Japan Central Air Defense Force Band and the Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra. Highlights include his Sea of Wisdom and Adventure Tale of Professor Alex, as well as The Skyscrapers!

 

The concert will also feature other exciting repertoire conducted by ME6 Philip Tng, including the epic suite from Williams’ Star Wars – The Force Awakens and Smith’s Songs of Sailor and Sea. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to experience the magic of West Winds and Daisuke Shimizu with an evening of enjoyable Band music!
