Zhang Xiaojing, a young guqin performer, studied under Professor Zhao Xiaoxia from the Central Conservatory of Music and was inspired by Shandong guqin player Xiao Xiao and famous guqin player Zhang Zisheng. In this solo concert, Zhang Xiaojing will inherit and reinterpret the charm of guqin music with her profound understanding of traditional and modern guqin works. This concert consists of eight selected pieces, combining the superb skills and strong emotions of guqin music; The genre encompasses traditional ancient music, modern new works, and new compilations of ancient music. Zhang Xiaojing continuously showcases and inherits the charm of traditional Chinese instrument Guqin with her exquisite performance. On July 13th, she will bring a guqin feast. Introduction to Zhang Xiaojing: In 2017, he won the Gold Award for Guqin Performance on the International Instrument Performance Day. In 2018, she won the Gold Award for the First Chinese Guqin Tea Art Exhibition. In 2019, he won the Excellent Performance Award and the Top Ten Popular Awards at the Third Pinghu Cup Guqin Art Exhibition, In 2019, she won the Gold Award at the 26th Beijing Ethnic Music Solo Exhibition, Invited to participate in the Italian da Vinci Art Festival in 2019, In 2020, she was invited to record the program "Youth in China" on Beijing TV, and in 2023, she was invited to France to participate in the Sino French International Guqin Art Festival, Guests invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the Singapore MCCY Youth Sports Carnival in 2023 She constantly explores and innovates on the path of inheriting guqin music, and is determined to promote and develop traditional Chinese culture in Singapore.
