When the Wind Blows holds conversations between Chinese poems, music and visual art. Experience a multi-dimensional performance curated by composer Liong Kit Yeng that draws inspirations from literary works by notable Singaporean Chinese poets, including Tan Chee Lay, Chew Kok Chang and Yeng Pway Ngon. Praised for writing memorable melodies and sophisticated harmonies, Kit Yeng’s instrumental compositions complements the beauty of the poems.
The piano trio, comprising Liong Kit Yeng on piano, Nadine Ng on violin and Chee Jun Sian on cello will provide a sonic backdrop to imaginative artworks by award-winning artist Tan Seow Wei. In celebration of inclusivity, the trio will be joined by 3 musicians from The Purple Symphony, Singapore’s largest inclusive orchestra comprising musicians with and without disabilities.
The programme will be presented in Mandarin, with English surtitles.
When ordering multiple tickets for the same event from the same account, all tickets will be included in 1 online e-ticket. If you and your friends will arrive at the event separately, please transfer the ticket to your friend(s) in advance.
