Life is a 3-movement contemporary music production that brings the audience through the journey of life, using music as the fundamental building block and a single performer. In the natural course of life, emotions, bonds and memories are developed. Similarly to music making, it evokes our emotions, which in turn brings us memories. The Nanyang Collective constituted by the plethora of Asian and Western instruments, aims to embody a contemporary soundscape that is uniquely Singapore. With the help of staging, lighting and theatrical aspects, we hope to accomplish a sensory and emotional concert that brings us back to reminisce on our journey of Life.
