Artist Information

Laura Peh

Laura Peh is an accomplished concert harpist, harp tutor and founder of Cinnamon Art Publishing. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Asia and Europe, and has performed on the medieval harp, Italian triple harp and Welsh triple harp. After studying music in Paris and London, Laura returned to Singapore to focus on developing the next generation of harpists, maintaining a private studio and inviting internationally acclaimed young harpists to present concerts, talks and masterclasses.

Charmaine Teo

Winner of the President’s Young Performer Concert 2021, Charmaine Teo is a concert harpist lauded by The Straits Times for her “nimble fingers and consummate musicianship” during her solo debut with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. She has clinched top prizes in international competitions such as the Camac Harp Taiwan Competition and been invited to perform at a plethora of international events including the Asia Harp Festival. Her orchestral endeavours took her to perform with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Sichuan Symphony Orchestra. Outside performing, Charmaine enjoys teaching and is currently with the Harp Faculty at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).

Sarah Wong

Sarah started her musical journey as a pianist at a young age, and then a harpist during her teenage years. Her passion for music and harp playing eventually led her in pursuing music full time at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). She graduated with a Diploma in Music with Distinction from NAFA, and at the same time attained the Best Graduate Award. During her studies at NAFA, she was privileged to have been under the tutelage of the harpists of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra – Gulnara Mashurova and Huang Yu-Hsin. Sarah now holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours from NAFA, in collaboration with the Royal College of Music (London).
