Synopsis

Award winning Taiwanese-Milanese soprano Cheng Szu Yun leads local opera singers baritone Martin Ng and tenor Jonathan Charles Tay in an all-Verdi programme featuring arias, duets and ensembles from his most well-loved operas like Aida, La Traviata, Il Trovatore, Don Carlo, Macbeth, and Othello, to his lesser-known works like Simon Boccanegra, I Vespri Siciliani, and Un Ballo in Maschera.

The concert promises to be an evening of intense passion and drama worthy of the grand Italian opera master Giuseppe Verdi (or Joe Green in English).
