Synopsis

AMALGAMA is an exciting close to the Singapore Flamenco Festival 2022: VIVIR!!!, uniting some of Singapore’s best musical talents under one roof. AMALGAMA—which translates to blending in, to coalesce and fuse—brings different musicians together in a melting pot of cultures, combining their instrumentation as well as their own musical styles with flamenco. Many of the works featured are original compositions by the musicians themselves.

AMALGAMA brings us an exciting and eclectic mix of Chinese, Malay, Indian ethnic music, as well as modern Jazz, Latin influences, amalgamating with Flamenco. ALMAGAMA promises to be an uplifting, joyous celebration of Flamenco World Music under one roof, bringing us to a roaring end to our Flamenco festival.
