London-based Ukrainian-Russian pianist Vitaly Pisarenko was awarded First Prize at the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht (2008), and Third Prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition (2015).
Vitaly regularly performs across the globe as a recitalist and a chamber musician. He has performed in more than 30 countries, include the Wigmore Hall, Musikverein in Vienna, Bozar in Brussels, National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing, Shanghai Concert Hall, Mozarteum in Salzburg, de Singel in Antwerp, Toyota Concert Hall in Japan, Hong Kong City Hall, Salle Cortot in Paris and Palace of Arts in Budapest.
In September 2021 Vitaly has been appointed an Assistant Professor of piano at the Royal College of Music, London.
Vitaly Pisarenko’s piano recital in Esplanade presents the music of two masters of piano composition, Schubert and Liszt (including Liszt’s transcriptions from songs of Schubert). His remarkable performance will showcase the powerful and dramatic music of Liszt.
