Murray Perahia in Recital presented by Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, scheduled to take place at the Esplanade Concert Hall at 7.30pm, 8 March 2018, Thursday as well as the Murray Perahia Piano Masterclass scheduled at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concert Hall at 4pm, 6 March 2018, Tuesday have been cancelled as Mr Murray Perahia is unable to perform due to complication from the flu.
If you have purchased tickets to this performance and/or masterclass via credit card, you will receive an automatic refund via your card. If you have purchased tickets in cash, we will update you via email / SMS on refund procedures as soon as we can. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

American pianist Murray Perahia has become one of the most sought-after and cherished pianists of our time, performing in all of the major international music centres and with every leading orchestra.
He is the Principal Guest Conductor of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, with whom he has toured as conductor and pianist throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia. He has a wide and varied discography, and is the recipient of two Grammy Awards and multiple Gramophone Awards, including the inaugural Piano Award in 2012.
Perahia is an honorary fellow of the Royal Academy of Music, and he holds honorary doctorates from the Juilliard School, Oxford University, the Royal College of Music, Leeds University, and Duke University. In 2004, he was awarded an honorary KBE by Her Majesty The Queen of the UK, in recognition of his outstanding service to music.
