Synopsis

Join Nanyang Girls’ High School Choir as they present a collection of choral works on the themes of wonder and love. The evening’s showcase will journey through an eclectic mix of musical genres ranging across madrigals, regional folk songs, xinyao, and Broadway showtunes.

Nanyang Girls’ High School Choir

The Nanyang Girls’ High School Choir was established in 1967. Throughout its history, the choir has nurtured the joy of singing and camaraderie through music, with repertoire spanning a range of musical cultures, languages and styles. Under the musical leadership of Ms Lim Ai Hooi since 1999, the choir has performed widely, receiving recognition and acclaim for its musical excellence. The choir’s achievements extend internationally too, with notable wins in Malaysia, the Czech Republic, and Austria. In 2014, the choir secured a Gold Medal at the World Choir Games in Latvia.
