Did you know that Lily prefers tunes from the heart-thumping boybands of the ’90s rather than the strong female power vocals? Join RINES and Lily Goh at this performance to find out why.
In their debut collaboration, Lily and RINES will share the songs they grew up with and how the experience of enjoying music led them to their own musical journey.
No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lily Goh
Lily Goh is a Deaf arts & music practitioner--producer and live-streamer/influencer. She is also an ACLP-certified sign language trainer-facilitator at her self-founded learning centre, ExtraOrdinary Horizons. She teaches Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) to hearing members of the public, who wish to communicate with the Deaf. She has won several awards, such as the Singapore Woman Award 2014 and the Top Outstanding Young People of the World 2017. Lily was the first Deaf participant in Singapore Idol 2004 and her song If You Were In My Shoes took semi-finalist place in the UK Songwriting Contest 2015 (Music Video Category).
RINES
RINES is a versatile singer who established her presence in the live music circuit, at popular venues such as Paulaner Brauhaus and Timbre. She credits her musical influence to J-Rock and LASALLE College of the Arts. RINES enjoys transcending the confines of genres and is open to collaboration. She is thrilled to be performing with Lily this time and hopes that the community will be able to learn Singapore Sign Language to deepen their understanding of Singapore’s Deaf culture.
