Esplanade Rehearsal Studio (Meet at Theatre Studio, Level 4, 15mins before start time)
In this workshop, participants will be guided through a series of light-hearted and engaging theatre games to experience the power of drama in everyday life.
The workshop includes warm-up, games that rely on rhythm and focus, improvisational interaction exercises and simple scenario creation. No prior performance experience is required—just bring along your curiosity and open-mindedness and you will be able to feel the charm of performing in a short amount of time.
You will get to experience:
Relaxing your body and mind while building trust and focus through games.
Attempting improvisational performance and exploring creativity and collaboration.
Experiencing the transition between “roles” and “situations” through small-group activities.
Discovering how theatre can enhance observation, confidence and expression in daily life.
This is a theatre experience workshop that is suitable for everyone, allowing you to discover the true “magic of theatre” in a safe and joyful environment.

Chu Ting-yi
Chu received both his BA and MA in Drama (performance-focused) from National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA). He is currently Head of the Company of 4 CHAIRS THEATRE, an actor and a part-time lecturer at the Department of Drama, NTUA.
Lin Chia-chi
With a BA in Drama from National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA), Lin is currently an actor for 4 CHAIRS THEATRE and a part-time lecturer at the Department of Radio, Television and Film, Shih Hsin University. His recent works with 4 CHAIRS THEATRE include Every Brilliant Thing, The Sun, The Possible Memoirs of a Traitor and We Are Ghosts.
