One of India’s premiere dance companies, Natya STEM Dance Kampni, showcases high standards of performances in both traditional and contemporary forms. The Kampni is headed by internationally acclaimed choreographer Guru Maya Rao and Madhu Nataraj. Its dancers train extensively in kathak, contemporary dance technique, yoga, martial arts like kalaripayattu and thaang ta, folk/ritual dance motifs, mime and other movement disciplines that amalgate into a unique vocabulary and physicality.

The Kampni’s costumes, multimedia and music are all original and created exclusively by world-renowned collaborators. Apart from its performance trajectory, the Kampni creates and curates dance festivals, workshops, seminars and believes in inhabiting the public domain through dance, as a catalyst for transformation in today’s times.
