Part 1: Realms…crossing time
“ Have you seen the moment when a ghost is born?” A man is haunted by memories from the past, preventing him from living in the present. He is on the verge of life and death - which will he choose?
Part 2: TIME..less
Inspired by TS Eliot’s Burnt Norton, this item is a meditation on time. Exploring one’s life in the past, present and future. Fusing traditional and more contemporary flamenco movements, augmented by multimedia animation, excerpts from the poem, other soundscapes and music - to explore what is most important in time.
Part 3: 3 Doors of Time
The finale of the trilogy is 3 way dialogue of 3 dance forms- Indian, Contemporary and Flamenco. Using the inter-play of rhythms,light and space, traditional forms are deconstructed and re-invented in an exciting and playful 3-way dialogue . Featuring Ponnamah Devaiah (Kathak) and Zhuo Zihao (contemporary) and Flamenco Sin Fronteras.
