The training covers the theory and practical aspects of assisting in preparing the stage area for technical set-up, basic theatre and staging terminologies, laying of floor for production according to stage plan, basic techniques of assembling and positioning of set and scenery pieces, hanging of drapes and bumping out at the end of a performance. To successfully complete the programme, the participant must attend the 2-day programme and undertake an assessment.
