This 2-day training programme combines theory and practice in relation to working safely at height in the arts or entertainment industry.
The training covers the theory and practical aspects of working at height including the following: understanding different types of general accessing equipment, the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent or arrest falls, identification of hazards and assessment of risks.
To successfully complete the programme, the participant must attend the 2-day programme and undertake an assessment.
Objectives
This programme aims to equip the participant with the skills and knowledge for working at height in the arts or entertainment industry.
Certification
Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Participation for Working at Height when they successfully complete the course and assessment.
Who should attend?
Theatre Technicians or individuals who work in technical theatre and or related industries.
Terms and Conditions
Participants need to fulfill the following requirements:
Must successfully complete training and assessment
Meet the minimum of 75% attendance
All participants will be required to wear safety shoes during the training programme
