Synopsis

Enjoy the music of Bollywood and more with Elliyas and friends! Comprising a group of friends who have been playing music together in clubs, bistros and events, this live band—led by Elliyas Farid with features by vocalists Neeraj Saxena and Sundaraman Iyer, drummer Joash Edelstein Mohan and bassist Ananthan—will present a repertoire of songs from Hindustani classical and pop music.

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Artist Information

Elliyas and Friends

Elliyas Farid is a keyboardist and an artist with Mediacorp’s Vasantham channel who has performed in unplugged music programmes since 2012. He has extensive experience playing at festivals, private events, bistros and restaurants. Elliyas has also worked with Pakistani vocalist, Abbas Ali Khan, for a Coke Studio concert at Fort Canning, Singapore, in 2015. He has performed in India, Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as at Esplanade for events such as A Tapestry of Sacred Music, Crossing Borders and Kalaa Utsavam.
