Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay (aka Singapore’s most famous durian) turns 20 in 2022! Like the fruit, our distinctive domes or “shells” have had their equal share of praise and criticism. But whether you love or hate our spikey roof, we cherish the journey you’ve taken with us in the last 20 years and look forward to sharing more memories with you in the years ahead.

In celebration of our 20th anniversary in 2022, we hope you will join us in bearing more “fruits” in the arts.

By supporting our Grow #mydurian campaign, you will be helping us to continue being an arts centre for everyone, while supporting our efforts to bear more fruit in the arts for the future. This includes:

• Keeping over 70% of our programmes free for everyone to enjoy.

• Bringing the arts to people of different backgrounds and abilities, at the centre, beyond the centre and online.

• Making Esplanade a welcoming space for differently-abled individuals to experience the joy of the arts.

Grow #mydurian adoption is open till June 2023. All donations towards the campaign will be eligible for 2.5 times tax deduction of the total donation amount.
