Discover the joy of movement and fall in love with dance at da:ns festival’s Footwork workshops. Always wanted to meet like-minded people who simply love to dance the night away? Join us at these dance gatherings.

There’s no better way to fall in love with dance than to try dancing yourself. Footwork gives you the opportunity to learn popular dances from the experts and pick up some moves in the months leading up to the da:ns festival, held from 13 – 23 Oct 2016. Salsa Social

Salsa socials are dance parties where salsa dancers of all levels of experience get together to share their love for salsa on the dance floor. In salsa socials, dancers get to practice their skills with different partners while making lots of friends. Mingle with other dancers and dance the night away and express your love for salsa! One of Singapore's most experienced salsa DJs Jason Lim spins for the night.

Spanish Dance Night

Looking for a dance social where you can also pick up some new moves? Spanish Dance Night introduces you to the passionate soul of Spanish dance. Learn the basic moves of sevillana (a Spanish couple dance), take part in the mass dance, and enjoy ‘live’ singing! Participants are encouraged to wear a rose or shawl or come in Spanish themed attire.
