Synopsis
Get a glimpse behind the scenes and discover the creative process of Composium 2026, a competition where new Chinese chamber music takes shape before your eyes. In this unique open rehearsal, finalist composers work directly with Ding Yi Music Company’s adjudicators, conductor and musicians, receiving feedback and refining their works as they are performed. Witness composers test ideas, respond to questions and make artistic decisions in real time. More than a concert, this is a rare look at how new music is created, challenged and brought to life.
This year’s Category A features chamber works written for Ding Yi’s full ensemble of 13 musicians, reflecting the company’s distinctive instrumentation.

When a show is cancelled, ticket buyers will be duly notified by the event organiser primarily via email. You may also be notified through the event organiser's authorised ticketing agent, media or any other applicable communication channels. Information will be provided on where and when you can get your refund. For postponed performances for which the date of the new performance is known, refunds are optional.
For free programmes, any cancellations or postponements will be updated on the event website and/or relevant official communication channels. As no tickets are issued, refunds do not apply.
