Synopsis
A Singaporean piano concerto played by a Singaporean – the SSO proudly presents the world premiere of Jonathan Shin’s Piano Concerto (an SSO commission) starring pianist Churen Li, both award-winning household names in our classical music scene. Conducted by Hans Graf, the programme also features Shostakovich’s titanic Tenth Symphony, a massive saga of gloom and terror that sends listeners hurtling to its victorious conclusion.

Rating / Age Limit

  • This concert is recommended for ages 7 and above.

  • Parents or guardians of children who become disruptive during the performance may be requested by venue staff to step out of the hall with the child.

  • Each individual must have a ticket for admission.

  • Strictly no admission for infant-in-arms and toddlers.

 

Admission / Re-admission

  • You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.

  • Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.

  • Photos, video and audio recording are strictly NOT allowed when artistes are performing.

  • These are allowed when artistes are not performing, such as during bows and applause. Please disable camera flash before taking photos.
