Claudette tells the story of a playful grandson and his tender, dreamy and slightly cantankerous grandmother, who grows melancholic as she approaches her 90th birthday. Tired of being alone and fed up with drinking soup day after day, she just wants to feel alive again. After all, it’s not every day that you turn 90!

An ode to intergenerational connection, Claudette is a street performance that blends juggling and puppetry to give a voice and visibility to older people—a heartfelt tribute to an entire generation of grandmothers.
