Synopsis
He is an extraordinary father, yet also an ordinary one. In the end, a father’s love is universal. I Am Your Father is a heartfelt local comedy that weaves humour and tenderness into a moving story about family and growing up. Since childhood, a daughter has been captivated by her father’s fantastical tales of his past. But as she matures, she begins to question the truth behind these stories. Determined to uncover the real man beyond the myths, she is met only with silence—until an unexpected accident brings long-buried truths to light. First premiered in 2018, the production has received warm audience response for its inventive staging and emotionally resonant storytelling. Blending laughter with quiet reflection, I Am Your Father explores memory, identity and the quiet strength of paternal love.
