Synopsis

True to its 56 years of history collaborating with over 300 composers to birth new music for their instrument, the Raschèr Saxophone Quartet presents the world premiere of the quadruple saxophone concerto by renowned Danish-German composer Søren Nils Eichberg (b. 1973), a commission by the Singapore Symphony. Our guest conductor Kolja Blacher leads the SSO in his father Boris Blacher’s sixteen dazzling orchestral variations on the famous theme from Paganini’s 24th Caprice, before taking you back to the familiar strains of the evergreen concert hall favourite, Dvořák’s New World Symphony.

  • Each individual must have a ticket for admission.

  • Strictly no admission for infant-in-arms and toddlers.

  • You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.

  • Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.

  • Photos, video and audio recording are strictly NOT allowed when artistes are performing. These are allowed when artistes are not performing, such as during bows and applause. Please disable camera flash before taking photos.

  • Photographs and videos will be taken at the event in which you may appear. Such photographs and videos may be displayed or published on SSO’s website, social media platforms, publications and publicity materials. When a show is cancelled, ticket buyers will be duly notified by the event organiser primarily via email. You may also be notified through the event organiser's authorised ticketing agent, media or any other applicable communication channels. Information will be provided on where and when you can get your refund. For postponed performances for which the date of the new performance is known, refunds are optional.

For free programmes, any cancellations or postponements will be updated on the event website and/or relevant official communication channels. As no tickets are issued, refunds do not apply.
