Experience a groundbreaking musical journey at TEMALANG: Echoes of Heritage, Rhythms of Today, the flagship main showcase honouring the rich evolution, vibrant present and collaborative future of dikir barat!

Celebrate the deep roots and dynamic evolution of the art form through a diverse lineup of high-energy and rare cultural performances. Audiences will be immersed in the authentic regional styles of Kelantan alongside the signature flair and contemporary innovation of dikir Singapura, bringing the best of both worlds into the spotlight.

A centrepiece of the event is a rare, living-history performance of dikir laba—one of Kelantan’s oldest traditional vocal precursors to dikir barat, preserved today by only a select few practitioners. Grounded in unity and legacy, TEMALANG highlights extraordinary cross-border artistry through powerful collaborations between Singaporean and Kelantanese performers, as well as an inspiring display of collective talent brought together by the Singapore Dikir Barat Federation . Join us for an unforgettable celebration bridging heritage roots and contemporary identity on a grand stage!
