Synopsis

“Breathtaking, athletic and often disconcerting virtuosity...the sounds he squeezed, coaxed and bullied out of his instrument defied belief.”
– The New York Times

“Evans’ trumpet doesn’t just speak—it transforms into a language of its own.”
– Jazzwise

Peter Evans doesn’t just play the trumpet—he unleashes it.

A force of nature at the forefront of contemporary jazz, his music pushes past convention into something raw, immediate, and electrifying. What emerges from the brass instrument feels almost impossible, moving between blistering speed and moments of quiet intensity that places the listener right at the centre of the storm.

Completing this whirlwind vision is a powerhouse ensemble of boundary defying improvisers: drummer Jim Black, bassist Nick Jozwiak, and pianist/keyboardist Ron Stabinsky—each among the most sought-after voices in today’s cutting-edge jazz scene.
