From bold fanfares to quiet, reflective moments, this is a performance that lets the saxophone tell its stories. Join the NAFA Saxophone Ensemble for an afternoon that celebrates the richness and versatility of the saxophone family. Embrace powerful chorales, energetic ensemble writing and moments of intimacy, featuring music by David Maslanka, Jun Nagao, Guillermo Lago, and Singaporean composer, Jay Ong. Enjoy a wide palette of colours—from soaring, resonant textures to playful rhythms and delicate lines. Together, these works come together as a listening journey that is both wide-ranging and personal, offering a chance to sit back and enjoy the many sides of the saxophone.
NAFA Saxophone Ensemble

Since their debut in 2013, the NAFA Saxophone Ensemble has been an active presence in Singapore’s classical and contemporary music scene. They have performed at venues such as Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Gardens by the Bay, Changi Airport, and the Singapore Saxophone Symposium. Internationally, the ensemble has appeared at festivals and institutions across Asia and Europe, including the World Saxophone Congress in France and Croatia. The ensemble also curates Saxophone Rojak, an annual concert series celebrating diverse saxophone repertoire.
