What do you leave behind when you go in search for a better life?
The Homecoming is a stripped-down, soul-baring play about migrant workers’ quiet struggles and deep hopes while living apart from their families. Told through intimate conversations and monologues, the performance captures the ache of absence, the weight of sacrifice and the enduring pull of home.
Heartfelt and rich with emotion, these are raw, real and brutally human stories that are not often told.
Director: Audrey Teong
Playwright: Ellen Lavilla
Cast: Ade Rayani, Christine Alcabasa, Laila Tadile, Jacquelyn Arindon, Noor Jannah Jani and Nelie Bautista
