Synopsis

Dance, laugh and go wonderfully wild at the Singapore debut of a new-generation musical prodigy as YELLOW takes the Huayi stage.

 

Since 2018, YELLOW’s signature brand of soulful and uninhibited artistic freedom has captured the attention of the Mandarin music scene in the region. Bursting onto the scene, he swept major awards at the Golden Melody Awards, Golden Indie Awards and Freshmusic Awards, and won countless fans with his outstanding performances on Chinese singing competition show Singer in 2024.

 

Whether gliding effortlessly across water or taking root sturdily in the soil, YELLOW’s unpredictable and chameleonic musical output sees him take on different guises and roles with his magnetic stage presence. Beyond the music stage, YELLOW has also surprised with his versatility by starring in commercials and hosting the Golden Melody Awards with a trademark sense of humour.

YELLOW

Taipei-born Hsuan Huang—aka YELLOW—is a singer, songwriter, arranger and producer who has an undefinable unique Cyberfunk music style that is infused with jazz, neo-soul, funk, R&B, rock and electronic music. His expansive musical expression and soulful rhythms have carved him a unique artistic space in Taiwanese music.

 

YELLOW is a multi-award-winning artist who has received accolades such the the Golden Melody Awards for Best Single Producer, the Golden Indie Music Awards for Best Singer-Songwriter and Best R&B Song, and the Freshmusic Awards for Best Male Vocalist. Fans also remember him for his outstanding performances on Chinese singing competition show Singer in 2024. YELLOW has had diverse and exciting collaborations with mainstream and independent artists including Sammi Cheng, Mavis Fan, 9m88, Greg Hsu, and Trout Fresh.
