Join arts and cultural worker Xyn Foo as she examines contemporary circus as a renewed art form by tracing its historical roots, analysing its current practices and considering both its challenges and its accessibility. This talk draws from Xyn Foo's thesis research to challenge the prevailing belief that circus is dead in Singapore and will cover the development of circus in Singapore from the post-war period to the present day.
