Synopsis

When a demanding director decides that sound effects are absolutely necessary at a table read, it's up to those present (audience included) to help fill in the gaps. *Ugh* *Gulp* *Eek!*

Come make some noise with us in this interactive production, written by Melissa Sim and Jeremy Au Yong, where the protagonists are stuck in a supermarket during a zombie apocalypse and have to figure out how to make the best of their limited resources—including toilet paper.

How Drama is a Singapore theatre company, which focuses on immersive site-specific performances and audience interaction.

Founded in 2007, the company has taken its productions to countries such as the United States, France, Norway and Australia, and received awards and critical acclaim. How Drama has also performed to sold-out audiences at the Night Festival, the Heritage Festival and Esplanade’s Flipside Festival in Singapore.

The company’s mainstay production, an interactive comedy called Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap, features 31 plays in an hour, where the audience chooses the order of the plays. It has delighted audiences for more than a decade and a version of the show, developed during COVID lockdown, was Singapore’s first live interactive theatre production on Zoom.

The education wing, How Drama Education, aims to instill the love of theatre in the young. It currently runs drama co-curricular programmes in numerous schools, including Anglican High School, Cedar Girls' Secondary School and Millennia Institute.
