Sharik Hasan & Chok Kerong

Chok Kerong is a pianist, organist and composer. One of Singapore’s most versatile jazz talents, his compositions and arrangements have been performed by artists such as Randy Brecker, Antonio Hart, Ensemble Transience, Charlie Lim and the T’ang Quartet. A Mosaic Associate Artist with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, he currently teaches music at Lasalle College of the Arts, School of the Arts, and the National Institute of Education in Singapore. He also mentors young musicians in programmes such as Esplanade's Mosaic Jazz Fellows and the SingJazz Academy.

Hailing from India, Sharik Hasan is one of the leading pianists and composers of his generation. Based in New York City, he has garnered a reputation for his exceptional virtuosity and versatility, making him the top-call pianist for many well-known bands and venues. He tours much of the year internationally with the world-famous Postmodern Jukebox as well as his own band MND FLO. Sharik has been a professor at Berklee College of Music since 2021.
