Look forward to an evening of re-imagined jazz standards, energetic, groovy and funky jazz fusion music by multi-genre jazz pianist Eric Lee and his dynamic team, featuring Hiroaki Maekawa on bass, Raf M. on drums and Ko Nakamura on guitar. Expect to hear an exciting repertoire ranging from classic jazz tunes such as I Remember April to modern fusion compositions Rio Funk and Casiopea's most iconic composition, Asayake. Get ready to move to the groove!
No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Eric Lee & M.I.C.
Multi-genre Jazz pianist Eric Lee is known for his versatility and dynamism in presenting jazz in many varied styles and variations. As founder of M.I.C. (Music Improvisation Collective), Eric's leadership and passion can be seen in his signature Jazz for Curious Listeners series over the years, among many other jazz workshops, clinics and performances that are specially produced in broadening the jazz audience.
Influenced by the harmonies of Bill Evans to the syncopated fusion grooves of Chick Corea, Marcus Miller and Casiopea, Eric, together with his team, has spearheaded many breakthrough performances in multiple jazz venues, often to sold-out crowds. Known for his signature infectious energy and groovy vibe, come and be jazzily entertained!
